About Eric Edmeades
Eric Edmeades is an internationally recognised speaker, author, and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of evolutionary biology and human performance. He is the creator of WILDFIT — one of the world's most successful health transformation programmes — and the author of The Evolution Gap. His fieldwork with the Hadza people of Tanzania, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities on Earth, shaped the foundation of his evolutionary mismatch framework.
The Gap Finder assessment and the EMC certification programme are the result of more than two decades of research, teaching, and real-world application. Eric built this certification because the world needs more people who can see through the lens of evolutionary mismatch — and because the practitioners who do this work well deserve the tools, the training, and the credential to back it up.

No. The certification is open to coaches, health practitioners, therapists, and anyone serious about evolutionary mismatch consulting. WildFit experience is valuable but not required.
The programme includes 17 modules with 102 lessons. Most students complete it in 12–16 weeks at a pace of 3–4 modules per week, though you can move faster or slower depending on your schedule.
Your $500 deposit is fully refunded. We review applications to ensure the programme is a good fit for both parties — this protects the quality of the EMC community.
The deposit secures your place and is applied to the full $7,500 certification fee on acceptance. If you are not accepted, the full amount is refunded.
Year 1 includes all training, materials, and 5 Gap Finder assessment passes per month. From year 2, you maintain your certification and community access for $300/month, which includes 10 assessment passes per month.
